Conditions
In
these terms & conditions, "we", "us" and "our" refers to Summertide
Holidays, while "you" and "your" refers to the
hirer.
1.
We ask for a non-returnable booking deposit of 30% of
the total cost of the holiday upon booking, payment of which also signifies your
acceptance of these terms & conditions.
2.
The balance is to be paid no later than eight weeks
prior to the arrival date, together with a further breakages deposit of £100. If
the balance is not paid by this time we reserve the right to cancel the booking
and retain the booking deposit.
3.
The breakages deposit will be returned to you after
your stay, less any deductions for telephone calls (charged at cost, once we
have received the bill); the cost of any repairs or replacements; and if
applicable, any additional cleaning charge (see
below).
4.
Occupancy runs from 2pm on the arrival day to 10am on
the departure day.
5.
Pets are not permitted in the property at any time
except by prior arrangement with us before you confirm your booking. Additional
terms and conditions will apply.
6.
In no case shall the premises be occupied by more
than eight persons. Camping is not permitted on the property.
7.
You are responsible for leaving the property as you find it on arrival, i.e. clean and tidy and ready for the next occupier. Cleaning materials are provided for you to clean through prior to your departure and it is a specific requirement to clean the hob, oven and fridge. All rubbish, leftover foodstuffs and recyclable materials must be removed to bins outside or taken away by you. Our Caretaker will check the property after your stay to ensure that it has been left clean and ready for the next occupier. If additional cleaning is necessary, the cost of this will be deducted from your breakages deposit.
8.
While we make every effort to ensure the accuracy of
the descriptions of the property and its amenities, these are for guidance only.
Please contact us of there is an item on which you need clarification. We
reserve the right to alter, substitute or withdraw any facility or
amenity.
9.
We cannot accept responsibility for any material
loss, damage, additional expense or inconvenience directly or indirectly caused
by or arising out of the property and its plumbing, or exceptional weather. No
responsibility is accepted for loss or damage of property (including pets),
vehicles or vehicle contents belonging to you or any member of your party during
the occupancy.
10. If due to reasons beyond our control the accommodation is not available whatsoever, we will refund the booking deposit and balance if already paid, but we will be under no further liability towards you.
